Ya... got a lot to post on now. Lets see... band season goes on, fun times there. We're going up to Everett tomorrow, should be a fun trip except that we don't get to stay overnight. Arrgh. Oh well, at least we aren't going to Salem.

In other news... I went to the Michael Moore lecture last night. I realize I will probably get a great number of insulting comments about this in my Tag-board, but just remember that I can edit those. Same with Egil, I can change around your posts there too! Well... I am not a communist. I am not a liberal democrat. Still, it was quite interesting. Surprisingly, he had some good points about the government and the general stupidity of the American people, but overall I didn't agree with too much he said. Some interesting points he made were that 'the Democratic party needs to grow some balls if they are going to win any elections.' ha. Then he got some "smart" Americans and a "dumb" canadian up on stage for a trivia game. He asked the Canadian questions about America and the Americans questions about Canada. From this, I learned that I am more intelligent than 3 4.0 students, a graduate from Andover, and a PhD in Physics when it comes to politics. Prime Minister of Canada? Capitol of Canada? Name a country bordering Afghanistan? Come on, those are easy!!! Then he started complaining about how some conservative TV people have said that he hates America on live TV, and that he really disagrees with this stance because they should be questioning "Does Michael Moore hate America?" He then goes on to say that Bush is the equivilant of Satan and should be removed from power for lying... you've heard all that before. But isn't that a bit hypocritical? Shouldn't he have asked the audience "Should Bush be removed from office?" So now how is he any better than the "angry white men" on the radio? Quite amusing. Anyway, it was quite a fun evening yesterday.

Anything else.... got a new hard drive, so maybe my computer will stop crashing because I'm out of space. I have a few CD's to rip now that I have 120 gig of free space. White Stripes and Weezer, might get those done tonight. More space and a more stable computer should increase the number of posts, assuming I get less lazy. (Not likely!) Got a new cell phone, thanks to T-Mobile and their warranty. Customer service is great, products are kinda crappy. I don't reccomend getting the "free" phone that comes with the family plan, it's worth an upgrade. Anyway... my cell number is still 513-1976 in case any of you care. I do have caller ID on there, so I'll know exactly who it is when you call me and leave annoying messages at night. So don't even try, or I'll have my revenge! :-D Oh, Paul has some interesting points about NHS. (Note, if you are offended by repeated strong language, you may not want to go to that link. Just trust me.) It will be interesting to see how long it takes them to finally start getting organized. Hmm....

Time to cover my suggestions for posts. First: Killer Lemming: Why plebiscite is not the same as the mass murder of plebians. Ok... I can cover this one. While a Plebiscite is a vote among the pesants, a Plebicide would be the mass murder of the pesants. Sorry for the confusion, not like you have never misinterperated something someone else said... oh wait, yes you have! Oh well, at least you updated. Sort of. That was almost as bad as my last update. Shame on you. Well... that is pretty much everything I could possibly think of to post in one long and rambling collections of paragraphs. Time for some sleep, know I wont be getting any sleep tomorrow night! :-)

Ha! Two posts in a week. Don't get too used to it. Just wanted to mention that I found Crucible Book Notes. These may be useful to several of you. I actually noticed questions from the sample tests on other books showing up on VA's plot quizzes, so I figure this is a good enough source for some character work. Nothing much else to say, except that it better not rain for the rest of our band competitions. Oh, last football game tomorrow. Fun.

Ok, ok. Fine. So it has been almost 3 weeks. Quit whining. Time for a post. So far, my suggestions on my tagboard have given me a few suggestions. First, SIGN THE GUESTBOOK. I signed all of yours, so its only fair that you put something sarcastic or something to promote your blog in there. Also, suggest new links, because I'm kinda running out of new good ones.

Lets see... band trip to Spokane last week, that was great fun. 7 hour bus rides aren't as long as they sound. My bus was pretty full, but we managed to fit about 10 people in the back for a truth or dare game after dinner. Dinner was pretty stupid, they just stopped in front of Burger King and McDonalds and told us to be back in an hour. Just imagine the look of horror on the faces of the people working when they saw 3 charter busses and a semi truck pull into the parking lot. Heh heh... the line always goes out the door and down the sidewalk. Just another reason to finish high school and go to college, dont want to work fast food. Moving on... we spent two nights on the floor of a middle school gym. Imagine Jason Lee, before the remodel. Now imagine it's on the outskirts of Spokane, so it's freezing and flat. Fun times. That $20 air mattress was well worth it! Competition on Saturday, we won. No real surprise, its not too competitive up there. After more than 2 days straight of being with band people, we're starting to be like family. People change in the open on the busses and the gym and nobody notices anymore.

PSAT this Saturday, also the weekend of the competition in Eugene. I'm supposed to be in Eugene at 1:30, the test should be done by 11-ish, so it may be close. Great. Still... we'll have dinner at the mall, so it should be fun.

Here's something stupid I've noticed: why does food at stadiums and places like that always cost so much??? Lunch at the band competition was more than $10. You'd think that since these places obviously have the monopoly on food sales, they could lower the prices a little. Not like they're in danger of losing people to their competitors or anything, but any time a medium drink costs $2 and a hot dog costs $3.50, someone needs to suffer.

Speaking of people suffering, I hope whoever designed the "death onramp" (I-5 south from Salmon Creek) gets hit by a truck. Not enough to kill them, just enough to make them realize what an idiot they are. It has to be the worst possible design, because no matter what you are driving, all the traffic comes from your blind spot. I've actually had to slam on the brakes and stop at the end of the ramp because there is no hole in traffic. Now they're fixing it, but in doing so they close the shoulder. Not good. Now there's no way to avoid going into the side of that gas tanker with the speeding WalMart truck on its tail. Arrgh. The only time I wouldn't mind traffic going a little slower, it always seems to have to race me.

Well... thats about all the good post material I can think of now. I really have to start posting more, so keep putting good suggestions in the tag-board.
