ARRGH! WASL KILLING BRAIN CELLS...
AIM buddy Icons

Introducing the NEW AND IMPROVED Bosk's Pictures! Use the link above to access my Terragen Photo gallery. I'll have other galleries up eventually, as soon as I make the pictures. I was really busy yesteday, for those of you who may have missed my post, I didn't get a chance to put anything up. I mowed the neighbors' three-foot high "lawn" yesteday, that was interesting. I think they got a good deal for $20! SCUBA class was fun yesteday, apparently I really didn't miss too much last week. There was a huge thunder storm while we were underwater, but it was an indoor pool, so no problem. Kinda fun to feel the thunder through ten feet of water. Today... WASL again. UGGH! That test is an insult to my intelligence. I spent a whole 5 minutes on the listening section, out of the 45 minutes we had to answer 9 questions. Then I finished the reading section in a record 13 minutes. So stupid. Glad I'll never have to take it again! Not much going on tonight, gotta practice for a scales test tomorrow. I got an idea for a new blog: Bosk's ways to really piss people off! Think of all the really great ideas you've had that would be great, as long as they didn't happen to you. That's what this will be. Still in the planning stages, but maybe this weekend. Xar: I will only admit defeat once you have an integrated chat room on your site, and not before. If you can do that with HTML...

The Curse of Ken strikes again!
Free web-counter, apparently I have 6 different readers!

Wow, that web counter is really useful. Unfortunately, it won't tell me any of your names, so I am reduced to guessing. Oh wait, I have an idea! Why don't you all SIGN MY GUESTBOOK! There's a link right below the search bar in the column to the left, so what are you waiting for. Don't make me hunt you down. Oh, speaking of hunting, just when I thought my neighborhood was starting to stabilize, become normal, the weirdness returns and hits full force. Apparently one of our crazier neighbors was out in his front yard today, pointing his gun in the air. I guess he was mad at a crow or something. Wow, really makes you feel safe, knowing that only the crazy people in our neighborhood have large weapons! Sometimes I'll be coming back from a dance or a band trip at 10:30 or 11:00 and one of my neighbors will be out walking his dogs. Dunno why he decides to do it late at night, but during the early fall, he was there most of the time. And then there's the chicken lady... probably enough said there. Oh yeah, it was brought to my attention today by our grammer class in English that I'm probably using these commas all wrong. Anybody who cares about comma use on this Blog, you have way too much time on your hands! It is not and English paper, nor is it meant as a lesson in grammer. Now that I've said that, I bet Paul shows this to Mrs. VA tomorrow! Although I gotta admit, after that whole Curse of Ken thing, I gotta feel sorry for him. He just better not pass it on to me, that's all I have to say!

I love lazy weekends, I hate stupid people
Check out two new reviews on Xar Reviews!

Wow, I really didn't do anything today, except for going to Malibu's Most Wanted. See the review on that at the link above. For some reason, the fire alarm went off in the theater 20 minutes from the end, but they let everyone back in and started the movie where they left off. I guess that was probably easier for them than giving everyone their money back. Nothing like $5000 in refunds to ruin the manager's day. Oh yeah, one other funny thing. Paul dropped 75 cents in the theater, and some of it ended up inside his chair. I don't know how it got in there, but we could distinctly hear two quarters rattling around when we moved the seat. Sucks to be Paul. Hmmm... White-out was fun last night, that's about all I'm saying there. Pretty lazy day today, starting school again tomorrow. Only 8 weeks of school left!

I'm Back!
Send me contest submissions by the end of next weekend!

CONTEST: Design a logo for Bosk's blog. I'll have a prize for the winner. (I'll find something. Like a banner promoting your site. How's that sound, Xar? Deadline: 11:59 PM, Sunday May 4th

Ok, now get ready for a really long post. I have three days to make up here. Solo Ensemble was fun, Dave and I did fairly well, with scores of 86, 87 and 91. We didn't place, but oh well. The choirs won first and second in their divisions; dunno how the solos went, I think Goose plays in 10 minutes or so. I'll break up the last couple of days, highlighting only the interesting events.
The Ride Up to Ellensburg was interesting... We stopped at a truck stop outside of The Dalles for a break. Very interesting place, hopefully the only one of its kind. If you buy 50 gallons of gas, they'll give you a coupon for a free shower! Also, they sell almost anything. What don't they sell? Think of something classy. They had a neon ashtray, a PS2, a train horn, and some old DVD's on the same shelf... now that's organization!
Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, we come around a corner to find a police car blocking traffic. Odd, seeing as we haven't seen any signs of civilization for almost 50 miles. He directs onto a dirt road away from the main highway, due to an accident involving a tanker truck. I think we should have taken our chances with the tanker. A one-lane dirt and gravel road became a two-way highway. There was a truck in front of us, a sports car behind us, and apparently somewhere nearby was the charter bus carrying the choir. This "shortcut" lasted about 30 minutes, while we wound our way through a very rundown section of the Yakama Indian Reservation, sometimes completely buried in the cloud of dust. A stop at Miner's for burgers in Yakama (Almost worth driving there just for the burger) was great though.
The Hotel was nice. Once we got over the apparent lack of sound-proofing between rooms (although it wasn't too bad, we could just hear other people's alarms going off sometimes) and the halogen light aimed into our window from the roof outside, it was great. Especially considering we didn't have to drive back and forth between Ellensburn and Yakama, and that the choir stayed in the Super 8 two blocks away. Highly reccomended.
Solo Ensemble was held at Central Washington University. Nice campus, but the parking sucks. I won't go into incriminating details, but lets just say that the $25 ticket for the no-parking zone wasn't too bad, especially since it gave us a free pass to keep the car there. (Although we did sorta worry about it getting towed or ticketed again!) We met up with Randy and the Skyview Choir, hung out with them for most of the day. We watched the choir's performances, yadda yadda yadda. You really don't care about this part, do you? I thought not. I'll skip it, but only because I'm getting tired of typing.
Later we drove David to Yakama, where we met his parents for dinner at Outback Steakhouse. Surprisingly, this was my first time eating at an Outback Steakhouse, and I would go back. Really good food, I reccomend the chicken and ribs. We almost ran out of gas on the way back to Ellensburg, but we made it with a whole 11 miles to spare! This morning we headed back for home, in the driving rain and occasional SNOW over the hills. I figured out how to use cruise control, and there's nothing like the feeling of passing a semi at over 70 mph. White-out dance tonight, I guess you can hear about that tomorrow.
Oh, one more thing. This was brought to my attention by a message on Xar's site: my picture site is not complete. I have found temporary web-hosing elsewhere for some of my work, and since Tripod really sucks for pictures, I'm working on another solution. Probably something like the one used for the aviation pictures at the Troop 14 website.

Wednesday, April 23rd
3 down, 5 to go. El dia de dos almuersos!
Miniclip.com, a bunch of good games. (Thanks Xar!)

Just as a warning, this will by my last post for several days. I'm going to Ellensburg, WA for the State Solo-Ensemble contest. Hope to do well with my duet, also good luck to Goose, David and Chris. WASL scheduling was interesting today. There were good and bad parts. Bad parts - we had biology with Dickey. Arrgh... 7 days until Fleck comes back! Also, the test itself was bad. Now, lets see... Good parts - 2 lunches. The testing schedule gives us first lunch, but we were released to 4th period, where I have second lunch, immediately before the bell rang for second lunch. Score! Hope to repeat that again next week, unless VA catches on. Also, no math class. So really, the schedule isn't that bad. (Assuming that the two lunches part stays...)

Oh boy. Looks like I have something to look foreward to on July 22nd: I get my wisdom teeth taken out. Fun, fun, fun. Also, there's nothing like listening to how they're going to be drilling in your mouth, while standing with a short crazy guy in a warm, claustrophobic room with little air. Somehow, I managed to black out and bang my head on the floor. Dunno what happened, all I know is one second I'm standing up, and the next thing I see is the ceiling. And I'm laying on my back... and I can't move my neck. Still a little sore, but should be better by tomorrow.

Well, that's it for now, I'll be back on Saturday or Sunday this week with my next post!

Tudsday, April 22nd
Did anyone else know it was possible to actually fall asleep listening to System of a Down???
Quizilla.com, seemingly random quizzes; frequently seen on AIM profiles, so I had to look!

Well, the math WASL is over. Phew. Finished before the break again today, so I had another great long nap. And Xar, you will tell me how to do that banner thing. Yahoooooo! I'm finally done with my health class, assuming I passed the final. It was probably the easiest test I've taken in a long time, except for the WASL or the Spanish publisher's tests. You know which ones I'm talking about, the ones you just look in the paragraph and fill in the word they missed. Anyway, I'll leave the link there for a while longer, mostly for Paul. (Ok, so not really. Mostly because I'm too lazy to take it off.) Had the NHS induction today, skipped SCUBA class because I heard it was only classroom work, and I wouldn't have made it in time for that anyway. Lets see... hmmm... you know what bugs me? People who are too stupid to use KaZaa right. (Yes, it is pronounced Ka-Zaa, not Kaza!) There are so many people who don't bother to rename files that aren't what they say they are. Nothing like finding out that that music video is really a live performance of some country band... So this is a warning to all you people who are too stupid for my own good: I don't like it! Knock it off! I bet you're the people who drive 30 mph in the 45 zone, huh? Or the ones who tailgate me in the school zone when I'm doing the speed limit. Grrr... Stupid people suck!

I can feel the brain cells dying...
WASL feedback

Well, the WASL definately lived up to my expectations. Not amused... We never actually had a teacher for 4th period math, so most of the class (and this is why people who have cars SUCK!) went out to first and second lunch. I'm taking my health final tomorrow during math, I figure that if I get at least a "B" I'll get an "A" in the class. Seriously, take advantage of that class! The link is at the bottom of my links secion, BYU Health. It costs about $96, but it's worth it not to have to take up a semseter taking it from a Skyview health teacher... I haven't heard much positive feedback there. They also have PE classes, a good way to get PE credit from your moderately active extra-curiccular activities. (Spelling problems, did I mention that the WASL kills brain cells???) Not too much more to say, but I'm looking foreward to this weekend. Should be fun!

Sunday, April 20th
WASL testing starts tomorrow! :(
ANTI WASL SITE! GO HERE!

Wow. Hope there are more people out there with good ideas like that one. (If you haven't looked at the link, I darn you to heck. Or an eternity of the WASL, whichever is more painful...) (I'll choose heck, thank you!) That and PDP's. Apparently, my PDP (Personal, or is it Professional, Development Portfolio) will help me with college applications and getting a job. If I walk into an interview, and ask someone if they want to see my PDP, they're going to call the cops. No joke. Something needs to be done about this, because I'm sick of all the stupid things I have to do to graduate that have no point. If someone can give me 41 reasons the WASL is good, and dispell all the negative points, I'll... no, never mind. Even that wouldn't change my mind. WASL sucks. Period. Along that same line of thought, one of our WASL practice tests in Math showed the differences in speeding tickets in Washington and Idaho, except that the numbers eventually went negative. So they're teaching me that I can park next to a police car in Idaho, and apparently get paid som $920. Real smooth. Be nice, but not going to happen. Remember a few days ago when I asked for new acronyms that spell WASL? Thanks to Xar:

WASL ACRONYMS:
Washington Assessment of Sexy Legs
We Adulate Sexy Lemmings
We Always Smoke Lead
Wait, Amy Screwed Lester?
Whales Always Striptease in Luxembourg
Walruses Ate Steve's Lira
Wangs Always Seem Long
Witless Aardvarks Suck Logs
Watching Alan's Steamy Lovin

This is the complete list, and I'm sure this will only inspire more... feel free to send them to me. I'm about to run out of steam here on this rant, although I know I haven't covered everything. Again, GO TO THE SITE ON THE LINK, YOU LAZY WEASEL! (Yes, I'm talking to you...)
Oh, by the way... Easter on 4-20? Bet that kinda took the spirit out of the holiday...

Remember, just because kitties are aerodynamic doesn't mean you should throw them...
www.send-me-links.com

I have absolutely no clue why I put that quote up there, so never mind. I was trying to think of something to type, and that just popped into my head. I think it's something Josh said once... a really long time ago. I have no clue why I even remember that, isn't it Elias' job to ressurect dead things like that? Hmmm... Today went well, didn't do much at all. (Yay!) Basically no homework this weekend, just getting ready for a really busy week. I'm about to post a new review on Xar Reviews, so check it out. Oh, and I solved that whole problem with my weekend, so never mind. Oh, you know who has some surprisingly good songs? No Doubt. I figured out that the only songs by them that I knew they did were the ones that sucked. Not worth buying the CD, but still. Surprising. One more thing, does the title Steal This Album really sound like a good idea to name a CD? That's System of a Down for you. They even made the thing look like a blank CD...

Friday, April 18th
Try out my guestbook, but beware: Abuse it and DIE!
Introducing the iToilet!

FRIDAY! Phew. About time, too. Next week is going to be really busy, so I'm glad I have the weekend to relax. Trying to decide what to do about next weekend, more on that some other time. Wow, absolutely NOBODY I know is online. Seriously, there are only three contacts online, and I can't remember any of their names. Was watching a movie about some guy after the crusades who finds out everyone in his village is dying of the plague, but the sweedish-with-english subtitles started to get to me, and the low-quality black and white part didn't help either. I would review that one for Xar reviews, but I honestly don't know where to start (or end.) Hmm... one week from today, I'll be done with my duet at state, three weeks until the AP test, and four weeks until the Canada trip. This year is sure going by fast...

Thursday, April 17th
Introducing two new features: Yahoo search and Add me as Homepage!
HTML Goodies, a good HTML review site. Some cool ideas there too.

Well, due to my brilliance in closing this window before posting, I get to start from scratch! Anyway, not much is going on. No jazz band today, so I'm a little more energetic with 45 extra minutes of sleep running through me! Another assembly tomorrow, spring fashion show or something. Oh well, makes math shorter. I'm talking to April, Alex and Paul online right now. Hmm... that was random. I have no clue what I'm even trying to say here. Oh yeah, band festival today at Skyview. Think we sounded pretty good, but couldn't really tell. I guess that means we start parade music on Monday. yawn!... think its getting kinda late... done typing

Wednesday, April 16, 2003

Wednesday, April 16th
Where do they get those stupid people who do our assemblies? Keep reading!
The homepage of RecycleMan... not updated in a while, but oh well.

I apoligise to my readers, because the link above will only be funny (disturbing? I guess it brings up memories that are already working their way into repression...) to people who saw the assembly today. Then again, if you didn't, I envy you. Usually assemblies are good because English and Math classes are shorter, but noooo... this was one of the rare few assemblies where I would rather be in English class. Or math. If the picture on the site doesn't explain enough, imagine that guy and four others dressed as garbage men singing about the "evils" of the world: SUV's, pop, household chemicals, people who don't recycle, and bottled water. I know, I don't understand that last one either. Just as a side note, I got the link from Goose, I didn't go out hunting for it myself. Do I look like I have that kind of time? (Umm... lets see... no. Remember those assignments from yesterday? Exactly.) Hmmm... besides that, nothing much to say. That's a pretty comprehensive rant... Yay! No jazz band tomorrow, so I guess I'll be sleeping in. Whohoo!

Tuesday, April 15th
SCUBA class starts today!
Evil Clown generator, need you know more?

Nothing much to say about school today... Why is it that teachers always assign homework that's due on Friday? Why can't we have the weekend to work on it? I have a three page paper for VA and two to three pages of ID terms for History. Uggh... we also learned of our upcoming doom: the WASL testing starts next week. (For any of you who don't have to live with a test like this, WASL stands for Washington Assessment of Student Learning. I have to give credit to the people who created the acronym though, its harder than it looks to come up with something stupid about the test that uses those four letters.) Anyway, tonight I had SCUBA class with Venture. Great time, I reccomend it! Hmm... not much to say about that, except that I didn't get enough sleep. Nothing like getting home at 11:00 on a school night to suck the energy out of you.
I have discontinued the "Night everyone!" because it was not original, and I don't feel like adding it today.

Monday, April 14th
Groaaaannnnn... WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL... and thanks for the shirt, Paul!
Here's Paul's blog, assuming he ever gets it working!

Wow, 5:45 is earlier than I remembered. Jazz band was... interesting... since most people didn't play over break. World History was exciting as usual, we learned about post WWII Russian torture, got some ideas to scare other people with. If you want more on that, check with Xar, I'm sure he'll expand on that topic some today. Or later, after he reads this. Oh, and Paul says you need to elaborate on the skiball thing. For anyone who is really confused about this, just never mind. Easier that way. ANYWAY... Went to the dentist. I was right, he reccomended another form of painful torture: I need my wisdom teeth taken out. Not looking forward to that. I saw something interesting today on the road: someone made a rifht turn, on red, from the left turn lane. These are the times you wish there was an accident, because I would love to see that guy explain to the police what he was thinking. Idiots driving... more and more every day. Thats it for now!
'Night everyone!

Sunday, April 13th
ARRGH! Where did Spring Break go?!?!
The Xar Doctrine: Useless Opinions you never cared about!

Ha ha... I made good use of my last chance to sleep in for a while... I finally finished my BYU health class (see link below) so I can take the final and be done with that. I can't believe some of their questions. Some, like "what do you do if you catch on fire" are insanely easy, while others like "is a severe headache or a severe nosebleed more severe?" are impossible. I mean, seriously. A severe nosebleed means you are too dumb to stop it, while a headache can be a sign of something really serious. I spent most of my afternoon at Pearson Airport, with the Scouts. We were doing a flying thing, so I got to go up for a 15 minute plane ride, once they found a plane I could fit in that worked! We went out to dinner afterwards, McMinamins. Nice place, decent food. If I am not too busy / lazy, I'll write a review on Xar's site sometime. (Don't hold your breath, unless you want to turn blue and pass out!)
'Night everyone!

Saturday, April 12th
Introducing New Images on Bosk's Images!
Bosk's Hikes, reviews of several Pacific Northwest trails

Darn. Right when I get used to sleeping in, I'm going to have to go back to getting up at 5:45 for school. That sucks. Oh well, I went hiking today in the Columbia River Gorge. There are some really great trails there, so I decided to start a blog dedicated to the trails I hike. And I found some temporary webspace for my files, so I'll be able to put up more images at my images site over the next few days. Back to the hike. The weather was good, it was partly cloudy for the most part. On the way back to the car, it became cloudy, and there was a warm breeze and a feel of energy in the air. Sure enough, not 30 seconds after we got in the car, there was a flash of lightning, the temperature dropped 10 degrees, and a torrential rain started. Talk about good timing! So we get home, and there's a squirrel on the front porch, running around in circles. He freaks out as we drive up, and runs into the garage, where he spends several minutes playing with the lights and radio near the back window before bolting out the open door. Good thing for him the dog wasn't out! Hadn't seen a squirrel do that until now, but I must say that I'm not surprised. The squirrels around my house are probably the dumbest squirrels alive. Other than that, nothing much happened today. Only one more day left of Spring Break!
'Night everyone!

Friday, April 11th
Arrgh! I want a longer Spring Break! (And maybe more spring weather...)
Add tests and links to your AIM profile.
Ha ha, Xar! We've all had computers that hate us. Now, back to my blog. Wow. I slept in a long time this morning, especially considering that my brother doesn't get up quietly. This kid has actually figured out how to slam doors open. Don't ask me how he does it, I really don't know. All I hear is a sound like a water buffalo being shot, a door slam, and something running down the hall. I am guessing the water buffalo noise is him falling out of bed, but I can't be sure. On a completely random, somewhat related note, I looked out my window, and the tree outside had moved several feet closer to me. Not good, I don't really like trees leaning tword my room. Oh well, it isn't too big, so it probably won't do more than scare the crap out of me in the middle of the night. I got the training CD's for my SCUBA class, I start on Tuesday. Should be fun. Spent two hours on IM today, haven't talked that long for a while. Helped Thomas study for his drivers ed final, possibly the easiest multiple choice test in existance. The only part thats confusing is the rules for school busses. You stop on a two lane road all the time, unless there's a median. You stop on a three, or more, lane road only if the bus is on your side of the road. Then there are the fuzzy areas, like how far away from the bus you have to stop, and how closely you can follow the bus. My guess is, if the little kid in the back of the bus is giving you the finger, you're probably too close. Either that, or you are following a bus from a high school... Hmm, wonder where I was going with this rant. I think my brain has been on break this week, and apparently several of you have had the same problem. Oh well, its not like I'll need it back until Monday...

Thursday, April 10th
Wow... I really didn't do much today!
Xar Reviews: We'll Review ANYTHING! (Even without our own server or a Z4.)
Another lazy, spring break day. It rained today, so I cleaned my room. That took a little longer than I thought it would, I think I spent at least four hours in there, and I've only finished one half of it. Oh well, maybe tomorrow. Going hiking sometime this weekend, but I'm not feeling great today. Can't tell if it's a cold, or just allergies. Not much I can do either way. What the??? There's a staple hanging in mid air next to the computer... oh, it's hanging from a cobweb. But still, that's kinda freaky, if you ask me. Office supplies are definately not supposed to levitate!

Spring Break is halfway over
Collegeboard.com. Again, send me links when you get tired of these lame ones!
Hmm... It was sunny today, so that means I got the chance to mow the bank by the lake. Oh boy. Only started a small grass fire today, not as big as last year, but that's probably because it rained last night. Four hours later, I managed to pay off my new watch. Still, that is a lot of work! Wasn't too bad, except for the giant molehills. I've never seen a 2 foot high molehill anywhere else, but they're all over down there. Also, there's a lot of stuff that washes up when the water gets high. Some of my weirder finds (and yes, that is a word. At least as far as you know...): An insole, millions of styrofoam pieces, half a coffe mug, several dead animals, etc. Nothing too unusual, after all, we've found paddle boats, railroad ties and trees down there before. After that, I started cleaning out my drawers. Found some stuff in there from 7th grade, as well as about $10 in change. Know what's kinda scary? Look back at your old yearbooks. I can't believe I ever looked like that. Hmm... running out of stuff to say, so I guess its time to stop saying stuff. Hey, it makes sense to me, ok?

Tuesday, April 8th
Umm... wow.
Cheap, portable headphone amp. I want one of these!
Wow. Where to start... Hmm... I went skiing today. It was really fun, kinda warm out though. The warmth would have been great, if it hadn't degraded the snow. Imagine something the consistancy of extra creamy peanut butter. Now imagine trying to downhill ski on it. Friction 1, Gravity 0. Oh well, there was nobody there. I love weekday skiing!
What else... I got home, decided to start paying off my watch, so I went on another wildflower massacre. Came inside, and I was greeted by a growing puddle of water in the kitchen, where the water filter had come undone, and was spraying all over. The water is still seeping out from under the cabinets, but the filter is back on. Wonder what would have happened if that had been overnight. We could have had a swimming pool! Not much going on tonight, just talking on IM, working on this site, and watching Ocean's Eleven. Watch for a review on that one soon, at Xar's Reviews.

Why do people call before 8:00? Don't the know people are trying to sleep!
Dead AIM, a highly reccomended AIM addition. Check it out!
Wow. Hate it when I finally get a chance to sleep in and the phone rings. Not just one call, noooo... they had to call again once they got the answering machine. Did a lot of shopping / stuff out and about today. (Or, as my Canadian friends would say, oot and aboot.) Got my physical for SCUBA, summer camp and band. Should cover me for a while. Then I went shopping for a suit, some pants, got a new watch too. Don't expect to see it too much, don't want to get it too beat up. Not much more to say about today, getting ready to go skiing tomorrow. Should have some stories about that for tomorrow. Hasta manana!

Public Service Announcement: Daylight Savings Time has already started
Need Revenge? (I do!) Find ideas here!
Ahhh... Slept in exra long today, thanks to daylight savings time it seemed like longer than it was. Went for a bike ride today, about 10 miles along the Discovery Trail from near my house to just past St. Johns. First time I've made it to the end. My brother tried to follow, but his tires didn't hold air, so he had to turn around. Trombone lessons this afternoon were good, David was late. (Surprised? not really, apparently he forgot to set his watch back, therefore my public service announcement.) Finished The Last Emperor about the last Emperor of China, Pu Yi. Really interesting, but not quite as good as the Gandhi one I saw last week. Figured out Chris has been bugging me online, aided by Jesse who pretended to know nothing about it. If you need to bug someone on AIM, try uHzMerher, euphanator, or BraveSirRobin66. I hear that Xar is "a personal Mafia-for-hire, so maybe I'll ask him for some revenge ideas. Or he can just send them to me, and save me some time. Ha!

Saturday, April 5th
A very busy day, where I managed to accomplish very little
Send me good links, get better links on site!
Well, it's getting light too early. Good thing daylight savings time starts tomorrow. Hmmm... guess that means it's almost 11:00 now. Oh well. I got two new CD's today, one by Simple Plan and one by All American Rejects. Both are pretty good, and I guess they are proof that filesharing can promote CD sales, because I would never have bought the CD's if I hadn't downloaded some of the songs first. Suck on that, record companies! On a completely unrelated note, has anyone else noticed how many stupid people you find driving in parking lots? There's the Skyview parking lot, probably the most dangerous. Then there's the parking lot in Jantzen Beach, where people ignore stop signs, pull out into the middle of the road before stopping, completely ignore pedestrians or other drivers... Come on! Your driving is beight criticized by a HIGH SCHOOLER! Simply put: If I can drive better than you can, and I can't even drive yet, you shouldn't be driving. End of rant. Also, does anyone know how to get the "white trash" smell out of a pillow I bought at Target? It smells just like the store... not too great! Hmm... That's about it for now, by the way, I'm feeling much better today!

SPRING BREAK!
Home of the world's best free media player, WINAMP..
SPRING BREAK And its about time! Today went really s l o w ... pretty much everyone had checked out before the end of the day. The English Tale of Two Cities final was multiple choice though, so I guess that's good. Hmmm... I think I may be getting a cold. Know what really makes me mad? People who decide that it is their personal duty to share their cold. The worst part is, by the time you catch it, they're already over it; so they laugh at you while you suffer through it. Got the sole-ensemble times today, the duet is at 11:40, pretty good time. That means it will be after breakfast, I'll be awake, it won't be too late for lunch, and we won't have to wait too long during the day. Sure beats Goose's solo at 8:30 or David's at 4:40. Hmmm... That's just three weeks from today... When did time keep moving on me? I hate it when it does that. Well, nothing much left to say, hope I feel better tomorrow.

Thursday, April 3rd
Ahhh... A very nice day!
Here's my site of random quotes, thoughts, rants, whatever...
For once, we had a band trip without any major problems. The busses all showed up, we left on time, everyone got to go, we got a chance to eat... so much better than last time! Don't think I missed anything at school today, but I guess I'll find out tomorrow. Oh well, I just enjoyed the chance to hang out today. Tomorrow's friday, then it's Spring Break. A Full week off! Yay. Hmm... I can't even think of a good rant today, so I guess you'll have to read Xar's Blog for a good rant on today's science fiction. I've been collecting interesting quotes, I may set up a quote of the day blog. If I decided to do that, it's most likely in the link at top. 'Night everyone!

I love good Karma, don't you?
Soon to be home of Bosk's Terragen picts!
Well, the CD player is here. And it really kicks butt. I'm burning another MP3 CD right now, hope it works! Anyway... wow. Today was pretty boring. I can't think of any good stories. Except that I think some people see me as a bank. I'll have to stop lending money to people next year, can't let this reputation get out of hand, who knows where it'll go! As you may have seen at the link above, I have a site where I will post my Terragen images. For those of you who don't know what terragen is, eventually the site will tell you, and have some examples of my work. Unfortunately, I don't have much time now, so don't be expecting that until... the middle of Spring Break. Ahh... free time!

Tuesday, April 1st
I'm stopping updating this forever... April Fools!
Stupidvideos.com, should be self-explanitory!
Another basically decent day. Only two full days of school left this week... Good news! Apparently my UPS package is coming, should get here on Thursday. It better... I wonder why they changed the tracking number. Oh well, don't care. Some advice for anyone needing health at Skyview: DO IT OVER THE INTERNET! Seriously, the class is so easy! Question 10: What do you do if you catch fire? The four choices below are so completely different, it's funny. You don't even need to read most of the material! Go to the link for BYU health on my links bar, or look it up yourself. It's raining hard now, I heard that the snow level is coming down, so that's good news, maybe it will snow here! (There's a little bit of wishful thinking, we haven't had good snow here for three years, and it's already April!)
