Well... despite having nothing to post, I have some rare free time, so you get to read something anyway. Lucky you!

I'll start out with a link: EmotionEric. Go there, check out someone with waaaaay too much free time. Faces for every emotion, and then some. Also, try Ratemyteachers. Interesting little site that gives students the opportunity to rate teachers. Check it out.

Got out of class today, went out to put stuff in the car, and there was a huge oil rainbow going from underneath it to the middle of the parking lot. Didn't see a leak though, so I hope it wasn't me!

I'm out of random stuff to say that is even slightly amusing, so I guess I'll call it quits for now.

Quite a weekend...

Basketball game Friday night, looks like the boys team is doing well this year. Remind me that I owe Kevin for his "manly pat on the back." We went to Krispy Kreme after the game, I hear that Chavez woke up on Saturday to find a 'Krispy Kreme Parking' sign on his car. Heh... wasnt me! (No, actually, it wasn't.)

Saturday was busy, spent the morning cleaning up around the house. We had a jazz festival at Clark, with practice starting at noon. I was the only one with room for instruments, so I carried the extremely expensive drum set... but it wasnt tied down, so accelerating, braking and cornering were a bit of a challenge. We played decently, but fortunately not well enough to make finals... I'd rather go to winter!

Winter was last night. Very good time! Enjoyed dinner and the dance. I'd say something about a forest green dress, but its already been said a few times ;) Some people learned a good lesson about choice in dates (not going to go there... I have adopted a policy of "leave me out of it"), but I didnt have any problems! :) Anyway.......... didn't get to bed until 2:00 this morning, so its time to stop trying to think!

Hmm.... here's something interesting that most of you have probably seen already: Political Compass. Take the test, so far it seems reasonably accurate. Are you Stalin? Hitler? Gandhi?

Ok... now that I'm done with that.... I really don't have much else to say. You complain when I don't post, you complain when I post boring stuff, whine, whine, whine! Actually, if I remember what I was going to say here, I'll add it later.

Here's something: Anyone have a particular interest in:
1) Compact Flash card reader (No card included)... the real benefit here is how it isn't compatible with windows XP
2) 8X CD Burner / Coaster Maker... I might actually need this in the future (I hope not...) but if you want to make me an offer for it, I think it still works

Ahh, now I remember! Anyone know someone in a small, light colored car who lives by the fire station in Felida? Someone has been cutting me off in the morning. They turn out in front, I hit the brakes (almost the horn) and hope that they'll speed up above 10 mph before I flatten them. I can understand people who might cut me off if they're in a hurry, but why do they need to go half the speed limit in front of me? Unfortunately, they don't seem to be a high school student, so I won't get the opportunity to turn their car sideway in the parking spot, like what happened to Chavez last week. (There were pictures here, but now its just a boring message.) Rant over, now I'll return to the boring garbage you've been used to!

Wow, two updates in a row. Actually, I realize its pathetic that my posts aren't as long as my sidebar, so I may as well try to add something about today.

Skiing today. Very, fun. Holidays like this are great, because the whole place was almost empty. Snow wasn't great, but at least they have some this year! (No grass, unlike last year.) Anyway, it was fun until it started raining, and rain at 34 degrees just sucks.

There, arent you glad you just read that? No you arent! You're bored out of your mind! Too bad, I'm not forcing you to read this. Know what bugs me? People who call my phone and ask for "Susan". I've had probably 10 calls and voicemails for "Susan" in the last two months... but I've had my number for more than a year. My guess is that Susan is just an idiot, and can't seem to remember her number, so she has managed to give out my number to Blockbuster video (Hey, you have 3 tapes out!), her doctor, her lawyer and a bunch of other people who like to call and leave long, detailed messages. Bet she wonders why she can't check her voicemail!

Wow... I'm sure you all cared. But you've been asking me to post more, and I did. Happy?

Hmm... nothing like a full week of school to keep me from updating... either that or I was just lazy, you decide. I really have no excuse for midweek. Friday was spent at a basketball game (they better go to state this year, I want a free trip to Tacoma on a school day to stay in a motel with hourly and weekly rates... ok, never mind, that brings up some bad memories!) After the game, a group of us went to Sharis. If you ever find yourself at the Sharis by the mall, check out the shrine on the wall in the storage closet... it appears someone spray painted a cross, then stuck some forks in the wall around it. Most likely one of the most bizarre things I've seen in quite some time! Just remember that although refills are free, 5 large glasses of mountain dew in an hour still isnt a good idea. Heh...

Yesterday was fun too, I spent most of the day doing absolutely nothing, to the point where I actually got bored enough to do the rest of my independent reading projects for English class... fun. The evening was better, met a bunch of friends and went to see Big Fish. Kinda weird, but still a good movie.

Here's an interesting thought, (brought to you by several people you've probably never met): guess what you get when you combine different kinds of acid with cow hooves and other parts? Gelatin. Yummy, I am so having Jello for desert tonight! I would write more, but there's really nothing left to say here.

Hmm... watch out for a big hole in the road on Fruit Valley. Doesn't look like much, but apparently it is deep enough to bend the wheel of a small car (ouch.) I think someone may have put a bit of gravel in it, but be warned. Ha.

Ok, done with the public service announcement. School is back, and going slooow. Great. Back to not getting a high school - level English course (let alone AP) and learning chemistry from my AP review book. At least the book we got today is part of the curriculum for the other AP classes, so maybe we're slowly moving toward "real work." Haha. Yeah, right.

New link, for those of you who were interested in the AP and SAT info: www.collegeboard.com

I was bored, so I found a bunch of online smileys. (Many of you may recognize the style, I think I took them from some AIM site... on a related note, if you are whoever I took these from, let me know before you take legal action, ok?) Anyway, you can find them here. Hope you enjoy.

Finally got out of the house yesterday. About time too, I'd almost rather be in school, especially now that we have practically an extra week in June. Ahh, oh well. Went bowling yesterday, good times there. Sat up last night talking online and listening to the branches fall around the house, woke up and saw that the tree outside my room exploded. There is no more trunk. The branches are all scattered around a shattered stump. Darn, and it was the tree by the back patio too, the one that finally started to give my room some shade. I'm just glad the trees on the other side didn't fall, they'd probably go through my window if they fell like the rest of them along the wall.

Saw Lord of the Rings today. I'm going to have to read the third book, I only brought the first two to Antarctica. Overall, very good movie. May have to see that again!

Ever feel like you are going insane, and the whole world is along for the ride? I'll leave you with that thought.

Its good to be back... and in the snow again.. hmm. Actually, after 2 days off school, I'm tired of these snow days. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?? (If its school, I better start chiseling the ice off the car now...) Anyway, here are the Antarctica pictures! Enjoy.
