Hmm... I gotta start posting more often! Where to start... last week kinda sucked. We had jazz band stuff Thursday and Friday nights, but that didn't stop us from going to a movie on Friday. I spent most of the day at Skyview on Saturday helping at the drum/dance show and doing the chem lab...

First the chem lab... ugh. The good part was that Skoog did show up (on time, too!) and he let us use the teacher's guide for the procedure. It took forever (3 1/2 hours) but it wasn't really that hard. About 3 hours into the lab, Skoog looks at his watch and decides to go to Burger King, leaving us in the lab. We were just finishing, but still, wouldn't exactly leave that room unlocked and unsupervised.

The drum/dance show was not good. Well, there were some really good parts, got to see some old friends and hang out with band people (different from other days how??). I helped a bit with the sound, playing music for groups and in breaks. The system overheated once, the head judge kept coming back and screaming, and the CD player died during Northern Lights' show (the one 'professional' level group... meh.) Got home around 11:15, it was a long day.

Sunday, I did nothing besides sleep, homework, and pressure washing. Earned $16. Go me.

Today was one of the best Mondays I've had in months. Seriously, it was almost like a Friday. Today is my first day of driving passengers, so I went out to lunch with Ashlie... and my spot was still there when I got back! Fourth period was supposed to be a test, but it was postponed to tomorrow, yay! It was sunny and warm, so today was shorts day. (Tomorrow may just be shorts and sandals, who knows. I havent got the memo yet.) After school, we were all kinda bored, so we went to ICR (Ice Cream Renaissance, for the slow ones in the crowd, quite possibly the best ice cream place in Vancouver.) I probably owe someone an apology for what happened during the rest of the afternoon, we (well, I, suppose I can't promise for the rest of them) won't show up anymore when your boss is there... I think Jesse owes you now!) Hahaha... I realize that last part made sense to very few people, but oh well.

They put up a sign today on Fruit Valley, warning about long delays because of the construction... from April until November. Hmm... looks like its time to find a new route into downtown Vancouver! They tried to fill the potholes with dirt, that's going to last a good three days at most. Oh well, I've got used to dodging them by now, they'll all get dug up soon.

Know what sucks? Firetrucks that come along from the other direction and mess up the traffic light for three or four cycles. Bah. Know what else sucks? People who drive stupid! On the freeway today, there was a nice white van with a dangling exhaust pipe... every time it hit a bump, the exhaust pipe would drag on the ground. Driving while typing a text message? STUPID! Passing someone, only to merge in front of them and not let them in? Happened to the car in front of me, who decided to drive the next quarter mile with his finger hanging out the window. Also, Jesse needs to stop flipping my mirrors away from my car, or I'm gunna take his wiper blades. This means war!

I'm out of good rants and stories, so I think I'll stop here.
