Hmm... they redesigned blogger. Not sure I like it, but I guess I'll adapt.

So anyway... what a week! 3 AP tests (English, Statistics, and US History.)

And then yesterday, prom.

Spent the morning and most of the afternoon setting up the screen, getting flowers, stuff like that. Picked Ashlie up at 5:45, went to pictures at Union Station. Dinner was pretty good, we met with Kevin and Kate, Cabalfin and Kelsey, Jesse and Sara, and Goose and Meg. Food was good, not too expensive either. (The $8 for parking was half of a meal.)

After dinner, we went to the dance. Parking around Union Station sucked, so we used Ashlie's dad's post office ID to park in the employee lot next door, then we took the long way and walked up and around on Broadway. Still managed to beat Goose, who took his fair share of wrong turns on the maze of one-way streets. The dance was pretty decent, the music wasn't so great. Actually, the DJ was pretty terrible, he crossfaded everything for a few minutes, so we'd have Michael Jackson with Eminem. Not good. Still, 'twas fun.

When the dance wound up around 11:15, we went and got the car and went back to my house. There was a difference in opinion (between most of the girls and most of the guys) about whether we should do one couple per car, or combine. (Probably don't even need to guess who took what side in that argument.) In the end, I brought out the Sequoia so we could have a few couples together. We started the movie around 12:45, and the movie itself was terrible, something with "calm" in the title, one of the worst movies since Walking Tall... something about 3 people out on the ocean. We turned down the sound a little way in (we used an FM transmitter to get it through the car stereos) and made fun of it.

By the time we finished the movie, it was 2:25. Everyone was tired, and we spent a little while figuring out who was driving where with who and who was driving what where. Meg had to drive Kevin home, because he didn't want to drive without his license at that time, so Goose was following them out. I drove Ashlie home, had to take Kara home too on the way. Technically, my license isn't good between 1 AM and 5 AM, but I didn't get pulled over by the one cop I saw. (Probably because I was going 5 under the limit, had my lights on, and was staying in my lane. Go figure.) Got home around 3:30 this morning, slept well considering it got light out 2 hours after I went to bed.
