FFF

Well, the beach wasn't quite as bad as it could have been, I guess. Although I still had to go through 8 hours (4 each way) in the car with my mom and brother, at least I got to drive for some of it. After dodging other cars and avoiding a few wrecks due to the stupidity of others, my mom will let me drive pretty much anywhere now. I may have had to camp overnight with them, but I got to sleep in the back of the truck. We may have stayed with some of my mom's high school friends and their young children, but at least they brought along their 16 year old cousin (she seemed glad to have someone else to talk to.)

I actually went out and swam (sort of) in the ocean, it wasn't so bad once I went numb. Sat around on the beach and in camp around the fire. I guess there was some story involving some distant relative-of-a-friend, mixed up campsite reservations, and the police... but I don't really know the details there. Sleeping in the back of the truck was better than a tent, but still nothing like a real bed. I'm a bit sore from the leaky air-mattress and sleeping with my head downhill, I don't think I slept as well as I thought I did because I'm exhausted. Just notice the time of the post, its not even 11:00 yet!

Well, now that I'm done with my FFF (Forced Family Fun) for the week, I guess the parentals can't complain when I'm out at night.
