Team America

Since I don't feel like posting publicly what's going on in my life right now, here are the lyrics to some great songs from Team America. If you haven't seen it, you suck. Oh, some of these songs may have offensive lyrics. If you don't like that, don't read them!

KIM JUNG IL SONG
(Accent corrected)

I’m so lonely
So lonely
So lonely inside real lone...
There’s no one
Just me only
Sitting on my little throne
I work really hard
And make up great plans
But nobody listens
No one understands
Seems like no one takes me seriously...
And so... I’m lonely
(Choke) I been lonely
Poor little me

There’s nobody
I can relate to
Feel like a bird in a cage
It’s kinda silly
But not really
Because its filling my body with rage
I’m the smartest most clever most physically fit
But nobody else seems to realize it
When I change the world maybe they'll notice me...
And until then
I'll just be lonely
(Sigh) little lonely...
Poor little me

I... so... lonely...

AMERICA, F*CK YEAH

Ameriiicaaa...
Ameriiicaaa...
America, fuck yeah!
Comin’ again to save the motherfuckin’ day yeah
America, fuck yeah!
Freedom is the only way yeah
Terrorists your game is through
'cause now you have to answer to
America, fuck yeah!
So lick my butt and suck on my balls
America, fuck yeah!

FREEDOM COSTS A BUCK o FIVE

What would you do
If you were asked to give up your Dreams for freedom
What would you do
If asked to make the ultimate sacrifice
Would you think about all them people
Who gave up everything they had
Would you think about all them war vets
And would you start to feel bad

Freedom isn't free
It costs folks like you and me
And if we don't all chip in
We’ll never pay that bill
Freedom isn't free
No there's a hefty fuckin’ fee
And if you don't throw in your buck-o-five
Who will?

Oooh, buck o-five
Freedom costs a buck-o-five

PEARL HARBOR

I miss you more than Michael Bay Missed the mark
When he made Pearl Harbor
I miss you more than that movie missed the point
And that’s an awful lot girl
And now, now you've gone away
And all I’m trying to say is Pearl Harbor sucked
And I miss you

I need you like Ben Affleck needs acting school
He was terrible in that film
I need you like Cuba Gooding needed a bigger part
He’s way better than Ben Affleck
And now, all I can think about is your smile
And that shitty movie too
Pearl Harbor sucked
And I miss you

Pearl Harbor sucked
Just a little bit more than I miss you

Another week gone by

So its been about a week and a half since I posted last...

Not a whole lot has changed that I feel like posting here for my unknown group of readers. Sorry I haven't been updating more, I've had a few more important things like:
Passing my classes
5 AP classes generate a constantly fluctuating homework load... some nights (like tonight) I have a few pages of reading, while some nights I get reamed with reading, notes, math/science problems and tests... oh well, what could I expect anyway? Hopefully I'll get my grade in Comp Gov tomorrow, thats the only class I see problems with so far.
Getting into college
Stanford application due November 1st, Cornell, USC and UW should be in by the beginning of December, at the latest.
Graduating from high school
There's this little thing called "senior project"... I'm following the traditional approach and putting it off as long as possible.
Band
Maybe not more important, but certainly more work. Competition this Saturday at Evergreen if any of my non-band readers want to come watch.
Social life
Yes, I do have a life. And apparently it frequently takes me away from the computer. No, I don't feel like sharing it with random people on the internet, and I don't feel like posting anything personal about myself or anyone else because thats how rumors go around. I'm going to continue my policy of avoiding conflict whenever possible.

Feel free to start debates/arguments in my tagboard, and I always welcome new links. If you're reading this and haven't commented in a while, let me know!

Pasco

Got back from Pasco around 5:30 this morning, so if my attempts at typing aren't very good, deal with it.

Met at Skyview at 7 to see the worst looking charter busses yet. I'm not sure where they found these things, but ours couldn't have been less than 30 years old. The ride wasn't bad until the bus broke down just past Hood River; after a while stopped on the side of the freeway, they decided to turn on the heater to keep the engine from overheating. 3 hours on a bus with nothing but hot stale air. Yuck. The people on my part of the bus (the back) were fine, but when its 90 degrees and someone keeps farting, it sucks.

Practiced at some high school in the middle of nowhere (edge of Kennewick.) The field was lied with thin strips of dead grass every 10 yards, and we were already running late, so we got very little accomplished other than teaching a few people some sets in the middle and end. By the time we got to the stadium a half-hour later we had to unload our bus (they decided to send a new one for the ride home) and get into uniform. Since none of us had anything to drink, we didn't do a great prelims show, but it was enough to put us in first place by 2/10ths of a point.

Sat around for a few hours before the usual warmup, show prep stuff. Finals show was a bit better in places, but not enough to win with again. At least the bus ride home was more comfortable, although sleeping wasn't too easy with a big light in the ceiling. Tried to tape a pair of shorts over it, but they fell, much to the amusement of anyone who happened to be awake. Took a bit of 'creative driving' to get out past the busses and truck blocking me in, helped direct Goose and Mallory around on the sidewalk.

Mt. St. Helens... bring it on!
